Hoy vamos a reutilizar un viejo soporte para tazas de café, que se ha roto y ya no usamos y lo vamos a convertir en un soporte para colocar bisutería.
Para ello en primer lugar, vamos a desmontar y lijar el soporte. A continuación, procederemos a pintarlo, hemos elegido un color rosa suave. Vamos a dar una primera capa de pintura y posteriormente lijamoscon la ayuda de una lija fina para quitar las imperfecciones. Repetimos el proceso unas tres veces, hasta que quede bien pintado.
Para decorar la base del soporte, hemos utilizado unos trozos de un viejo CD, lo hemos cortado con unas tijeras y los hemos pegado con un pegamento transparente. Como vemos parecen espejos y le dan un toque diferente a nuestra manualidad.
También hemos colocado unas alcayatas para posteriormente colocar en ellas la bisutería. Y por último hemos colocado un hilo de tejer, tal y como vemos en la foto, que también nos servirá de soporte.
Today we are going to reuse an old coffee cup stand, which is broken and we didn't use it during an long time and we will use it as a stand to place jewelry.
First, we will remove the stand and we have to sand it. Then proceed to paint it, we chose a soft pink. Let's take a first coat of paint and then sanded with the help of fine sandpaper to remove imperfections. Repeat the process three times, until it is well painted.
To decorate the stand base, we used pieces from an old CD, we have cut with scissors and we stuck with a transparent adhesive. As we can see in the picture, it looks like mirrors, it give a different touch to our craft.
We have also put some spikes to put the jewelry. And finally we have placed a yarn, as we see in the photo, which also it's useful as a support.
